• Plots/Buildings with round, triangular, polygonal and other odd shapes may constantly lead one into some problem or other. Square and rectangular plots are good.
• Blocking of the North-East (Ishan) portion of the house/industry restricts the inflow of the blessings of God. It leads to tension, quarrel and insufficient growth of the inhabitants; especially children of the owner.
• There should not be three or more doorways in a straight line. Having improper position of the entrance/obstruction in front of the gate can reduce the prosperity to a great extent.
• Improper position of the bedroom/bed/dressing table brings unhappiness in the married life and causes disturbed sleep. A properly placed round mirror and cordial paintings etc. in the bedroom can enhance your relationship. A wall poster having mountains/snow-clad peaks of Himalayas/Alps etc without water, can add immense strength and stability to life.
• A water body or source should be in the north-east, north, east of the plot. Having a water body in the south-east/south zone of the house can affect the health of the ladies of the family. Besides huge financial loss, an underground water tank in south-west can be even fatal to the head of the family or owner of the industry.
• More open space in north or east gives name, fame and prosperity. Leaving more space on the south-west side in the house can affect the male members badly; whereas in industry it leads to financial loss and quarrel amongst partners/executives.
• Having a toilet/fire place in north-east corner of the house or industry can ruin it financially besides mental tension & quarrel amongst people.
• Depression in the south-west can result in to a serious illness to the habitants, whereas depression in north-west causes enmity and litigation. The depression in south portion of the building in general restricts growth besides financial problems.
• Extension in the south-west may result in loss of health, loss of money and other insurmountable problems, whereas extension in south-east may lead to fire, accidents, theft, and court litigation.
• A South-west gate has the tendency to keep the owner away from the building/room and leads to loss of health & wealth.
• All fire/electrical gadgets like transformers, generators, Motors, boilers, furnaces, oil-engines etc. should be kept in south-east or southern portion of the plot/building.
• Heavy machinery has to be installed in south-west, south & west in the factory. Packing, Weighing Machines/Finished products are to be kept in north west corner. It would help quick movements of the stocks & early recovery thereof.
• Since the health of your home relates directly to you and your health; keep your home in the best possible condition. Keep your mirrors clean, try to keep the paint work fresh, repair any leaking faucets, and replace any blown bulbs as quickly as possible. Keep your windows clean and replace any cracked or broken glass.
• Bamboo flutes are very effective to offset the effect of overhead beams. They are also believed to discourage thieves and to attract good friends. The flute symbolize peace, tranquility and contentment.
• Pyramids/focus lights are very effective in neutralizing the negative energy in the building.
• Single-level homes are better than split-level homes as spilit level creates difference of opinion among family members.
• Flowers on each side of the front path encourage positive energy and raise the spirits of your visitors. Wind chimes, lamps, bagua'a also make excellent remedies.
• The kitchen should be well lit and have a feeling of spaciousness and welcoming feel. Since it symbolize the family's wealth and ladies health. The cook should face east while cooking and able to see anyone who enters the room without turning his or her head more than forty-five degrees.
• The backs of chairs or sofas should not face any entrances. People sitting in these positions feel insecure and lacking in support.
• Color stimulates and energizes our lives. Bright colors attract positive energy and make the area more stimulating. Red, yellow in particular are useful in area(s) of conversation as they have always been considered the colors of good luck and wealth.
• Mirrors in the dining room symbolically double the amount of food on the table. They also double the feelings of well-being and enjoyment that you and your guests will experience in this room. Dust and dirt however reduce the effectiveness of mirrors.
• Water, particularly moving water, attracts positive energy and money. Consider placing a small ornamental fountain or aquarium in your Wealth location (North direction) for wonderful results.
• Avoid Cactus, Rubber plants, Milky plants and Bonsai plants in the house as they add to tension, illness and stunt growth of the children.
• Contrary to normal belief, N, E & NE are not beneficial to all. There are four favorable and four unfavorable directions for a human being. Depending upon the Astro-particulars each one of us can know his/her auspicious/inauspicious direction for sitting/sleeping and achieve the desire result
